Math Specialist 26-27 School Year Holy Rosary, Seattle

Holy Rosary School is a preschool-8th grade STEM plus school in West Seattle serving approximately 515 students and is dedicated to helping our students grow as disciples of Christ. We are seeking a dynamic math specialist to teach middle school math and support elementary students in need of more support. Though the position is posted as full time it could be less than full time if desired by the successful candidate. Preference given to practicing Catholics. This position is for the 2026-27 School Year.

Successful candidates:

Are passionate about Catholic education and its purpose
Demonstrate expertise in teaching mathematics across grades 6-8 including pre-algebra algebra and/or geometry

Make meaningful connections between math and real-world applications
Have a desire to be a part of a collaborative school community
Demonstrate knowledge of the Common Core Standards Curriculum Mapping and use of formative and summative assessments to drive instruction
Demonstrate knowledge of successful differentiation techniques in order to ensure all students learn at high levels
Can communicate effectively and proactively with staff students and parents
Have strong classroom management skills
Are creative engaging and dynamic in the classroom
Are knowledgeable of STEM principles and how project-based learning can apply to all subject areas
Possess orare eligible for a Washington State Teaching Certificate

Salary: The range for this position is $58450 - $ offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
