Job Summary
St. Patricks Parish in Washington DC is hiring a past time (18 hours per week) Outreach and Evangelization Coordinator.
This role will report to the Pastor.

Parish Outreach and Evangelization Coordinator (Part-time 18 hours)
- Develop and coordinate communications about parish programs proactively inviting and encouraging participation among parishioners and interested guests
- Be a first point-of-contact for new parish registrations adults seeking to enter the Catholic Church and adult Catholics who are seeking catechetical formation and sacramental preparation
- Regularly update parish website and online communications
- Organize the OCIA program including careful attention to curriculum development and execution attention to sacramental needs of participants clear communication of expectations and important dates and recording of sacraments in parish records
- Flexibility of schedule including availability to meet in-person during parish office hours evenings and weekends
- Create and execute initiatives to build up the Body of Christ in downtown Washington
- Be a team player assisting the pastor staff and volunteers in a mission-driven approach to evangelization parish outreach and building up the Body of Christ
Requirements: Bachelors Degree proven success coordinating and building programs and that further the spread of the Gospel organization computer proficiency an ability to work and communicate with others in a fast-paced environment fidelity and love for the Catholic faith
