Job Description:
- Lead Solar Resource Assessment initiatives for diverse project locations ensuring accurate evaluation of resources and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive Energy Yield Analysis and Optimization leveraging advanced technologies and innovative approaches to deliver high-performance plant layouts.
- Oversee BOQ Development based on AC/DC cable loss calculations and optimized design scenarios ensuring cost efficiency and technical accuracy.
- Evaluate Emerging Module and Robotic Cleaning Technologies providing strategic recommendations based on OEM documentation and industry trends.
- Plan PV Module Factory Visits to understand the technological advancements and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.
- Act as Key Technical Interface with Lenders Engineers supporting due diligence and contributing to successful project financing.
- Collaborate with O&M Teams to implement advanced diagnostic techniques (EL and FTR) for monitoring and maintaining module health.
- Develop and Standardize SOPs and Checklists promoting operational excellence and consistency across processes.
- Interpret Complex Test Results and make strategic decisions on Module Inverter Tracker selection to safeguard performance and reliability.
- Mentor and Guide team members fostering technical growth knowledge sharing and a culture of innovation within the team.
- Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration engaging stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and project timelines.
- Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation identifying opportunities to enhance design methodologies resource utilization and project delivery efficiency.
PRE-REQUISITES:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Renewable Energy or a related discipline; Masters degree preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in solar energy system design installation and project execution with demonstrated leadership in technical teams.
- Expert proficiency in PVsyst and AutoCAD with ability to guide team members on best practices and advanced modelling techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills capable of driving innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills including the ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage external stakeholders including clients lenders and OEMs ensuring alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines.
- In-depth knowledge of solar photovoltaic technologies system components and advanced design methodologies.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems energy storage solutions and grid integration principles with ability to provide strategic input on system optimization.
- Proven ability to prepare and review detailed engineering reports drawings and BOQs ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities fostering team development knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
- Experience working in multi-cultural global environments collaborating effectively across diverse teams and geographies.
- Experience in solar construction operations and maintenance with a focus on quality assurance and performance optimization.
