Job Summary

Post Graduate (PGDM in International Business Foreign Trade Logistics or Supply Chain)
Experience: 10 to 15 Years
Salary: Upto 15 LPA
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) for all licensing policy and compliance matters
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of DGFT regulations procedures and online systems
- Handle preparation monitoring and closure of licenses such as:
- Advance Authorization Licenses
- EPCG (Export Promotion Capital Goods) Licenses
- DFIA (Duty Free Import Authorization) Licenses
- Ensure timely redemption/closure of licenses in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with Regional Licensing Authorities (RLA) for issuance amendments and renewals of licenses
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and Handbook of Procedures (HBP) and ensure organizational compliance
- Oversee and validate customs documentation including import/export documentation shipping bills bills of entry etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics finance compliance) to ensure seamless documentation and regulatory adherence
- Manage audits queries and notices from DGFT and customs authorities
- Track regulatory updates and implement changes in internal processes accordingly
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation for all licenses and transactions.
Required Skills / Exposure
Strong understanding of:
- Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) & Handbook of Procedures (HBP)
- DGFT portal and licensing systems
- Customs laws ICEGATE and documentation processes
- GST implications on imports/exports
