Position:Cheerleading Supervisor (SY 26-27) (Stipend)

Salary range: $2760$3369 stipend
Time Commitment:Six days a week
- Fifteen to twenty hours a week.
- One game a week.
- Season Length- 8/24/2026 11/27/2026

SUMMARY:
The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding Cheerleader supervisor to coach the cheerleading team for the 2025-2026 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence equity and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning all areas of their team.
- Leading and assisting their coaching staff in coordinating efforts under one program goal and ensuring compliance with rules at all levels.
- Analyze game strategy.
- Implementation of skill development.
- Coverage on bus trips.
- Video analysis of games.
- Attend all league and local district and state meetings when necessary.
- Reaching out to local Youth Groups to promote their respective sport in town.
- Planning award ceremonies and individual award winners.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- CPR Certified.
- NFHS Concussion course completed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience coaching cheerleading
- Strong communication and leadership skills
