Position:Volleyball Assistant Coach (SY 26-27) (Stipend)

Salary range: $3365$3974 stipend

Time Commitment:

• Six days a week.
• Fifteen to twenty hours a week.
• Three games a week.
• Season Length- 8/19/2026 11/20/2026

SUMMARY:

The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding Volleyball assistant coach to coach the girls volleyball team for the2026-2027 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence equity and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coach the team they are assigned to.
• Assume the duties of the head coach when the head coach is not present.
• Assist in coaching practices or games.
• Implement practice plans.
• Oversee scouting of opposition.
• Be a liaison between the captains and the head coach.
• Coordinate with the athletic office on the rosters awards and medical issues tasks.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• CPR Certified.
• NFHS concussion course complete.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School degree or equivalent.
• A degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Experience coaching volleyball
