This role is part of Alcons Information Technology function a team that delivers cutting-edge technology solutions to Alcon associates and customers to help our people and the world see brilliantly.
The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the design development and delivery of IT systems that meet business needs focusing on complex problem-solving and aligning IT solutions with strategic objectives.
Specifics Include:
- Support the design development testing and successful delivery of IT solutions that align with business needs and enhance operations.
- Collaborate with business users and IT teams to ensure systems meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT systems ensuring they align with business goals.
- Assist in documenting system requirements user guides and technical specifications.
- Make decisions related to day-to-day tasks and issues within assigned projects working under the guidance of senior team members for more complex decisions.
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 10 yrs; Assoc.6 yrs; M.S.0 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
- 2 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: Exempt
- Work Location: Onsite
- Travel Requirements: 0-10%
- Relocation Assistance: Yes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with RedPrairie or JDA or BlueYonder Warehouse Management System.
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle DB.
- Experience with Knapp Automation a plus.
