Job Summary
Provides transportation services to patients throughout the facility. Facilitates patient discharge and transportation to applicable exits. Transports additional equipment and specimens as necessary. Assists in departmental supportive activities to include stocking moving equipment and supplies and straightening patient rooms.
Requirements
Education and Training
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- BLS certified
Experience
- Previous experience in hospital environment and some knowledge of aseptic techniques preferred.
Other Skills Competencies and Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- ability to lift and transport patients and equipment
Shift: 12:00pm-8:30pm and every 3rd weekend 8:30am-5:00pm
