| Job Description: | - Program Development & Research
- Conceptualize train and oversee the MUSE (Museum University Student Educator) program which includes creating and leading student-led art-based activities for Museum Nights.
- Create and administer adult programs for students and community members to include Museum Nights lectures symposia gallery talks civil dialogues workshops and campus outreach events.
- Collaborate with curators educators faculty artists and community partners to enrich programming.
- Conduct & Manage Programs
- Plans for visiting artists scholars and performers in connection with public education programs.
- Organizes and leads academic class tours and presentations for a wide range of college disciplines.
- Represents the museum through interaction with university faculty and staff; maintains professional affiliation with colleagues at university art museums and galleries nationwide; attends and presents at professional conferences.
- Recruits trains and supervises a corps of student volunteers for the education department and provides oversight for the paid internship program.

| Required Qualifications: | - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment
- Experience and/or advanced degree in art education arts administration art history education student engagement or related field
- Knowledge of art history and interest in a wide range of art.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written proofreading and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed organized and career minded; ability to work independently
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with educational technology and software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
