Job Description
Salary Range: $48.71 - $57.99
Full time contract expected to end December 2026
Reporting to the Director Organizational Effectiveness Culture and Transformation the Project Manager Quality and Process Improvement leads and supports initiatives focused on quality improvement clinical process optimization and health information system enhancements. This role manages assigned projects independently while contributing to organization-wide strategic initiatives that support patient care staff engagement and community health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects aligned with quality improvement goals clinical and corporate strategic priorities health information systems enhancements and innovation initiatives.
- Develop and manage all phases of the project lifecycle including charter development planning scheduling execution monitoring evaluation and closeout.
- Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on project milestones deliverables risks and outcomes.
- Identify assess and mitigate project risks.
- Collaborate with clinical teams support services IT and operational stakeholders to define project scope objectives and success measures.
- Partner with decision support teams to develop metrics reporting frameworks and analytics strategies.
- Build organizational capacity in quality improvement by mentoring and facilitating staff and leaders in the use of improvement methodologies.
- Perform additional cross-functional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- College diploma or Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Health Administration Business Administration Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in project management or in roles where project execution was a core responsibility
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
- Change Management certification/designation is an asset
- Formal training (certification preferred) in improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or the IHI Model for Improvement
- Experience within the healthcare sector is an asset
- Demonstrated experience developing evaluation frameworks measurement plans and conducting data analysis
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated change management capabilities including consulting negotiation and strategic thinking
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including SharePoint MS Teams Co-Pilot and other collaborative platforms is an asset
- Excellent written verbal presentation and facilitation skills.
