Location:Rome NY

Schedule:12-hour Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $49 to $54/HR
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical (Step-Down) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Rome NY.
Requirements:
- 12 years of step-down and/or telemetry experience
- Experience with adult/geriatric patients
- RN ratio: 6:1
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a step-down unit
- Monitor patient status including telemetry and vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the EMR system
- Ensure patient safety and follow hospital policies and clinical standards
