Position Overview

An opportunity is available for a Litigation Associate to join a Complex Commercial Litigation practice in Irvine California. This role is ideal for a mid-level to senior associate with at least four years of experience managing sophisticated litigation matters including contract disputes and business torts.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution

Draft pleadings motions and legal briefs

Handle all phases of discovery

Conduct and defend depositions

Represent clients in court hearings and mediations

Develop case strategy and perform legal research

Collaborate with internal teams and maintain client relationships

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of commercial litigation experience

Experience with contract disputes and business torts preferred

Strong deposition and case management experience required

Trial exposure preferred but not required for mid-level candidates

JD from an accredited law school

Active California Bar admission

Strong analytical writing and advocacy skills

Compensation

Base salary: $240000 to $275000

Bonus structure:

$50000 at 1920 hours

Additional $50000 at 2100 hours

Total compensation potential up to approximately $340000

Higher bonus tiers available for senior associates
