Job Summary

Working in conjunction with the IT Department Staff the Summer IT Support Technician(s) will complete high-priority tasks such as installing new equipment servicing staff and student laptops and completing infrastructure projects.

Up to 40 hours per week (Summer 2026) $25.00/hr.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the setup maintenance and troubleshooting of computers printers projectors and other classroom technologies.
  • Respond to help desk tickets emails or in-person requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document issues and solutions in the help desk tracking system.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on ongoing projects and technology rollouts.
  • Install and terminate a Cat6 Ethernet cable
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated experience with basic computer troubleshooting (hardware/software).
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Chrome OS environments.

ABILITY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable punctual and detail-oriented.
  • Prior experience in a help desk IT support or educational technology environment.
  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA A Google IT Support or similar are a plus.
  • Familiarity with educational software and systems (Google Workspace for Education learning management systems etc.).
