Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): The Desktop Support Student worker is responsible for providing the St. Olaf community with computing services. The Desktop Support Student works closely with other staff members to coordinate and support desktop computing on campus help manage computing labs and provide general support services for students faculty and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities: Help maintain St. Olaf owned computer related equipment.

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills) Very detail oriented can work with Excel word and google docs and can work independently. Also mechanically inclined would be helpful.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

This position requires crouching kneeling/crawling stooping twisting/pivoting reaching overhead grasping/handling pushing/pulling lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs. and operating hand tools to perform the essential functions. It also requires rare exposure to loud noise proximity hazards and heights or cramped quarters to perform the essential functions. Protective equipment is required for some essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
