About the Role

We are seeking aUI/UXLeadto establish and govern a scalable UI/UX foundation across our enterprise products. This role will lead the creation and adoption of ashared component library and design system working closely with theHCD teamto ensure consistent accessible and high-quality experiences. You will also createtemplate GitHub repositoriesand reference implementations that internal teams and vendors can extend enabling rapid delivery without compromising standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-Own theUI platform strategy including the companysdesign system component library and UI standards.

• Partner with theHCD teamto translate experience principles intodesign tokens components and interaction patterns.

• Governdesigntocode workflowsusing tools such asFigmaandcomponent documentation platforms (e.g. Storybook).

• Define and maintainUI playbooks usage guidelines and contribution standardsfor internal teams and vendors.

• Build and managetemplate GitHub repositoriesthat integrate approved components layouts and design patterns.

• Establishgovernance processesincluding design reviews UI audits and quality gates.

• Ensureaccessibility usability and visual consistencyacross allvendordelivered UI.

• Drive adoption and correct usage of the component library through documentation examples and enablement.

• Review vendor and internal deliverables foralignment with design system and HCD intent.

Required Qualifications

• 10 yearsof experience inUI engineering frontend platform or design system development.

• Proven experience building and governing acomponent library and/or design systemused across multiple applications.

• Strong handson experience with modern frontend frameworkReact.

• Strong experience collaborating with design teams usingFigma(or equivalent) as the source of design truth.

• Handson experience withcomponent documentation toolssuch asStorybookor similar.

• Strong understanding ofdesign tokens theming component APIs and versioning.

• Experience creatingengineering playbooks UI guidelines or standards documentation.

• Experience creating and maintainingtemplate or starter repositoriesfor scalable development.

• Strong knowledge ofaccessibility standards (WCAG)and UI quality best practices.

• Strong collaboration experience working withdesign/HCD teams backend engineers and QA.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Vaadin (Java framework) or willingness to learn its UX.

• Experience operating aUI governance or contribution model(RFCs approvals release processes).

• Familiarity withmonorepos package publishing and semantic versioning.

• Experience supportingvendorbased development models.

• Knowledge ofmicrofrontend architecturesor multiapplication UI ecosystems.

• Exposure toenterprise authentication patterns(SSO OAuth2 OIDC) from a UI perspective.

• Experience withfrontend performance optimizationand observability.

• Familiarity with frontend build tools linting automated testing and accessibility tooling.

• Experience working inenterprise or platformfocused environments.
