They are currently embarking on a critical digital transformation journey shifting from highly reliable legacy systems to modern agile and integrated architectures.

Performance Objectives for Year One

To be considered a top performer in this role you will need to achieve the following within your first 12 to 18 months:

• Architect and Execute the Modernization Roadmap: Lead the strategic transition plan to modernize the existing application landscape integrating mission-critical legacy systems (e.g. AS400 DB2) with modern API-driven architectures () without disrupting daily business continuity.
• Streamline Enterprise Integrations: Re-engineer and automate routine business transactions and eliminate data administration redundancies by implementing effective system integration services and minimizing reliance on monolithic applications.
• Build and Mentor a High-Performing Team: Overhaul and optimize the Applications Support and Development divisions fostering a business-oriented agile culture focused on relentless improvement high internal resilience and rapid delivery.
• Establish Advanced Data Foundations: Architect a robust Data Warehousing (ETL) strategy and framework that standardizes enterprise data mapping key business processes to allow leadership to leverage advanced analytics AI and Machine Learning capabilities in the future.
• Optimize the Application IT Budget & Supplier Ecosystem: Assume full financial and operational control of the enterprise applications budget. Audit negotiate and enforce rigorous SLAs with technology vendors and external development partners to ensure maximum ROI and compliance.
