Job Summary
Subject to formal establishment a vacancy may arise for a Squadron Leader (Aircrew Pilot (CA)) to serve as BBMF StanEval at RAF Waddington on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 07 September 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status).
The BBMF StanEval pilot is responsible for providing Cdr Display Air Wing through the Display Air Wing Senior Operator with independent assurance instruction standardisation and evaluation of all BBMF aircrew. The role also acts as the Unit Authenticator for BBMF aircraft and provides assistance and advice to the Display Air Wing Air Safety Team.
