About the role:

Youllbe the strategic leader behind integrated email marketing programs that drive customer acquisition engagement and retention at scale. Working at the intersection of data strategy creative direction and business growthyoulltranslate customer insights into sophisticated campaigns that deliver personalized experiences across the customer lifecycle.Werelooking for someone who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution building programs that scale efficiently whilemaintainingquality and relevance. Success means leading email initiatives that consistently exceed engagement and revenue targets while developing teamexpertise.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead strategic planning for email marketing programs that support customer acquisition retention and revenue growth objectives
  • Build andoptimizecomprehensive customer lifecycle campaigns including acquisition onboarding engagement and win-back programs
  • Guide campaign performance analysis across metrics including engagement rates conversion attribution customer lifetime value and revenue impact
  • Develop and mentor team members fosteringexpertisein email strategy automation and optimization best practices
  • Collaborate with creative data and product teams to ensure email programs integrate seamlessly with broader marketing initiatives
  • Transform customer data and behavioral insights into sophisticated segmentation and personalization strategies
  • Shape testing frameworks for continuous optimization of subject lines content formats send strategies and customer journeys
  • Partner with client stakeholders to align email strategy with business priorities and communicate program performance
  • Stay ahead of email marketing innovations platform capabilities and industry regulations tomaintaincompetitive advantage
  • Deliver programs that achieve ambitious targets for subscriber growth engagement improvement and revenue attribution

What you need to be great in this role:

  • A portfoliodemonstratingstrategic email marketing leadership with proven ability to scale programs and drive business results
  • Advancedproficiencyin enterprise email platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Adobe Campaign or Eloqua
  • Experience leading marketing automation strategy including complex customer journey design and optimization
  • Deep understanding of email deliverability compliance frameworks and data privacy regulations across markets
  • Proven ability to analyze campaign performance and translate insights into strategic recommendations
  • Strong leadership skills for developing team capabilities managing stakeholder relationships and influencing cross-functional partners
  • Experience with advanced segmentation predictive analytics and customer lifetime value modeling
  • Strategic mindset for connecting email initiatives to broader businessobjectivesand revenue outcomes
  • Advancedproficiencywith Gen AI tools (ChatGPT Claude Jasper) to enhance content strategy campaign ideation and performance analysis
  • Agentic leadership: systematic approach to complex strategic challenges breaking down customer lifecycle optimization into actionable initiatives
  • Experience integrating AI workflows to improve campaign personalization content production and audience targeting
  • Understanding of AI capabilities and limitations in email marketing with established quality standards for AI-assisted work
  • Ability to guide teams in responsible AI adoption andestablishbest practices for AI-enhanced email programs
  • Strategic application of AI for predictive modeling content optimization and customer behavior analysis
  • Experience with financial services fintech or regulated industries including compliance and risk management considerations
  • Knowledge of customer data platforms (CDPs) CRM integrations and marketing technology stack optimization
  • Experience with cross-channel marketing orchestration including social SMS push notifications and web personalization
  • Understanding of email design systems accessibility standards and technical implementation
  • Background in team management budget planning and vendor relationship management
  • At the time of this posting the base salary for this position may range from $80750.00to$90250.00 CAD.Individual compensation varies based onjob relatedfactors including location business needs level of responsibility experience and qualifications. The range listed is just onecomponentof OLIVERs total compensation package.
