Production Manager (Hands-On) Solid Surface Fabricator

Pay: $25$35/hr (Based on Experience)

Job Overview

We are a growing countertop fabrication company looking for a Solid Surface Fabricator / Production Manager to lead our shop operations. This is a hands-on position for someone who is experienced in solid surface fabrication (Corian or similar) and capable of managing daily production.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating countertops while also overseeing the production schedule materials inventory and shop employees to ensure projects are completed on time and to high quality standards.

This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and has the leadership skills to keep a shop running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate solid surface countertops (Corian and similar materials)

• Read shop drawings and ensure accurate production

• Manage and coordinate the daily production schedule

• Supervise and assist shop employees during fabrication

• Monitor materials supplies and shop inventory

• Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet deadlines

• Maintain quality control for seams finishing and assembly

• Coordinate with installation teams and office staff when needed

• Maintain a safe and organized shop environment

Requirements

• Minimum 35 years experience in solid surface fabrication

• Strong knowledge of Corian or similar solid surface materials

• Experience with shop tools routers seam work sanding and finishing

• Ability to read shop drawings and layouts

• Experience managing or leading a small production team is preferred

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Reliable and dependable
