Introduction

Lewisham is undergoing one of the most significant periods of regeneration in London and this role is key in helping to deliver inclusive growth and create thriving sustainable places. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Strategy to help shape and deliver major regeneration and infrastructure programmes that will transform the borough over the coming decade. Whats the role

As a Project Manager in the Strategic Regeneration team you will lead complex highprofile regeneration projects and strategic workstreams. The role combines robust project management with strategic thinking policy awareness and strong partnership working to deliver longterm placebased outcomes.

You will lead and manage major regeneration development and infrastructure projects from design feasibility through to delivery ensuring strong governance design and risk management monitoring and reporting. You will support strategic planning masterplanning and investment decisions across priority growth areas. You will work closely with colleagues across the Council and with key external partners including the GLA TfL Homes England developers and local communities to ensure programmes are wellgoverned funded effectively and deliver maximum public benefit.

What were looking for

You will bring significant experience of managing complex regeneration development or infrastructure projects ideally within a public sector or partnership environment. You will have strong financial and commercial acumen excellent stakeholder management skills and a clear understanding of the political context of working within a local authority.

You will be confident producing business cases and reports managing risk and working collaboratively across organisations to deliver ambitious outcomes. A degreelevel qualification in a built environment or related field and a recognised project management qualification (or equivalent experience) are desirable.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Salary

55353 to 57495 per annum (PO5)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale) which is subject to evidential proof.
