Business Intelligence Analyst

PURPOSE:

In accordance with company policies and procedures the BI Analyst will play a key role in transforming operational financial and production data into actionable insights. This role partners closely with operations finance supply chain and leadership to build dashboards improve reporting processes and support data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate is analytical detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

CRITICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop maintain and enhance dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI Tableau or similar platforms
• Analyze operational financial and production data to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data models and reporting solutions
• Build and optimize SQL queries datasets and data pipelines to support reporting and analytics
• Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across systems and reports
• Support monthly quarterly and annual reporting cycles with timely insights and analysis
• Document data definitions reporting logic and dashboard functionality
• Assist in the development of KPIs and performance metrics for manufacturing operations
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support to leadership and department managers

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Business Analytics Information Systems Finance Engineering or a related field
• 3 years of experience in a BI Analyst Data Analyst or similar analytics role
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Tableau or similar BI tools
• Solid SQL skills for querying and manipulating data
• Experience working with ERP systems preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

PREFERRED:

• Experience with data modeling or ETL tools
• Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics
• Knowledge of DAX or M (Power Query)
• Experience supporting operations quality or financial reporting in a manufacturing setting
• Understanding of manufacturing operations supply chain or production workflows
