Preschool Teacher (Early Childhood Education) Location: The Learning Experience Sterling VA Pay: $19$21 per hour Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday (7:45 AM4:45 PM or 8:30 AM5:30 PM)
The Learning Experience Sterling is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of young learners in a structured engaging early childhood environment. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys supporting school readiness social development and hands-on learning.
Our preschool program focuses on building confidence independence and foundational academic skills through play-based instruction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily preschool classroom activities in a safe and nurturing environment
Implement engaging lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
Support early literacy math and problem-solving skills
Maintain structured routines and positive classroom management
Observe and support childrens developmental progress
Communicate regularly with families about milestones and classroom activities
Maintain classroom organization and follow all Virginia licensing standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Childcare daycare or preschool experience required
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices preferred
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Must meet Virginia childcare licensing and background requirements
