An AmLaw 100 law firm is looking to add a litigation associate to its Insurance Coverage practice in Seattle.

If you enjoy digging into complex legal issues and want a mix of analytical work and litigation strategy this is a great opportunity to build a niche practice in insurance coverage while working closely with experienced attorneys and clients.

What Youll Be Doing

Youll be advising insurance company clients on coverage issues and handling related litigation matters. That includes analyzing policy language drafting coverage opinions and supporting disputes involving first- and third-party claims including bad faith allegations.

On the litigation side youll be involved in drafting motions and briefs managing discovery and participating in depositions hearings and mediations. Youll also play an active role in communicating with clients and helping move matters forward.

What Theyre Looking For

• Admitted in Washington State
• Experience in insurance coverage or coverage litigation preferred
• Open to commercial litigation backgrounds with an interest in coverage work
• Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
• Organized and able to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
