Job Summary
Position Type: Part-time adjunct in-person only
Compensation: $850 - $1000 per credit based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)
Location: NHTI Concords Community College Concord NH
Overview:
NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach a variety of history and political science courses. Course offerings may include topics like History of NH US History 1870-present US History to 1870 Western Civilization and Western Civilization Antiquity to 1650.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Minimum: Masters degree in history political science or a relevant field
Experience: Prior teaching experience required and familiarity with Canvas (or similar LMS) preferred
Residency: Must reside in New England
Position Responsibilities:
Course Delivery: Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
Student Engagement: Foster active learning through discussions assignments and assessments.
Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance provide feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Professional Development: Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines.
