Job Summary

Responsible for leading a team of 10-15 licensed advisors that serve clients in the Minneapolis market through phone screen share and video. Manages performance and sales results to ensure goals are reached across all levels the business the team and advisors. Responsible for driving team revenue of $1.5M annually. Collaborates with broader sales leadership team to ensure delivery of a consistent approach to client experience and core expectations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for team revenueof$1.5M

  • Accountablefortheretention and engagement of a combined 800kclients.

  • Lead anddeliversteam-based and individual coachingregularlyondailyandweeklybasistocultivatestrong consultative sales skills deliver advice-based recommendations and foster professional development and career growth.

  • Responsible forconductinginterviewsandmakingtalentselectionsbasedon attrition and future growthrequirements.

  • Provides onboardingandtraining that ensures strong speed to productivity and skill set development.

  • Collaborateswiththe internal centers of excellenceto ensure team membersreceivethe training and resources necessaryforsucceed all whilebuilding self-sufficiency.

  • Build and foster a culture centered aroundthe organizationsculture missionvisionand values.

  • Willingness and ability to lead from the front i.e.demonstratingknowledge and skills through case work and occasionally joining client calls to support your team.

  • Partner with sales director to conduct quarterly business planning and manage performance expectations.

  • Responsible for contributing to information needed decision making andtooperatingin line with budgetary decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Required:

  • College degree in business management related business field or equivalent experience.

  • Prior experience as a financial advisor.

  • Possession of a FINRA Series 7 63/65 or 66 and Life/Health Insurance licenses is highly desired.and must beobtained within120daysof hire/transfer.

  • 5 years experience of leading a team of 8 or more direct reports is highly desired.

  • Must be eligible to be Securities and Insurance licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia

  • Previousexperience in financial planning investment products and insurance products.

  • Prior training and experience with consultative needs-based sales models (Integrity Selling or similar)

  • Experience leadingchangein a fast-paced high-growthenvironment.

  • Prior experience working in a team setting to achieve results.

Preferred:

  • Advanced Designation (CFP orChFC or CLU) is desired.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $94389.00 - $127703.00 per year which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to location relevant experience skills and knowledge business needs market demand and other factors Thrivent deems important.
