Reporting into senior leadership the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping provincial strategy expanding market presence and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service through a capable and motivated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute provincial business strategy aligned with overall organisational objectives.
- Drive revenue and profitability through new business acquisition client retention and crossselling opportunities.
- Identify growth opportunities while monitoring market trends competitor activity and emerging risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Lead coach and develop a highperforming insurance team fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Recruit onboard and retain top talent. Ensure effective succession planning and skills development.
- Manage provincial budgets control costs and optimise operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial operational and sales KPIs implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory risk governance and market conduct requirements.
- Oversee service delivery claims escalation and quality assurance to ensure a consistently strong client experience.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Degree in Business Commerce or a related field (required).
- FAIS Accreditation: ShortTerm Commercial Lines (1.6 Rep & KI) (required).
- Minimum 10 years experience within shortterm insurance including broking sales and portfolio management.
- Proven experience leading and developing insurance teams.
- Strong commercial financial and risk management capability.
- Track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement communication and leadership skills.
