5-8 LBS1 Learning Support Specialist

Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a faithful enthusiastic and student-centered 5th-8th grade Learning Support Teacher (LBS1)to join our team for the 2026-2027school year. Applicants must be in support of the mission and vision of Corpus Christi Catholic Schooland has a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs through collaboration classroom support and targeted instruction. This role focuses on helping teachers implement accommodations supporting students with ISP/IEP goals and promoting social-emotional development through whole class lessons and small-group support. This position works closely with classroom teachers interventionists and administration to ensure all students are supported academically socially and emotionally. Responsibilities:

• Recognizes and supports the mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School by speaking acting and instructing consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Helps build the schools faith community through participation in school religious and service activities
• Attends district meetings and supports the implementation of IEP/ISP accommodations and modifications for 5th-8th grade students
• Pushes into classrooms to assist teachers in supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Provides small-group or individual support when needed
• Supports students in developing skills such as self-regulation problem-solving friendship and resilience
• Works specifically with 5th grade teachers to integrate SEL practices into classroom routines
• Assists with the development and implementation of behavior supports and student intervention plans
• Participates in student supporting meetings faculty meetings and professional collaboration
• Supports school safety procedures mandated reporting requirements and crisis response as needed
• Continues to participate in professional development by attending seminars workshops or professional meetings

Required Qualifications:

• Current Professional Educators License
• LBS1 endorsement or ability to obtain
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
