YOUR DAY

As a Barber Instructor you will step into a lively and inspiring classroom ready to educate motivate mentor and coach future professionals in both technical barbering and guest service skills. You will create extraordinary learning experiences whether you are demonstrating cutting-edge techniques guiding students through hands-on practice or supporting their personal and professional growth. As a Barber Instructor you will embody the positive culture of Paul Mitchell The School working alongside enthusiastic colleagues participating in team trainings and taking part in engaging activities like student clubs fashion shows and community events. Your expertise communication and passion will help foster the next wave of industry leaders.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES

Schedule: This is a full-time position at our Pasadena CA campus.

Heres what were looking for in our ideal candidate:

• 3 years of experience in the barbering field
• Current California Barbering License
• Excellent organization coaching and communication skills
• Skills in supervision teamwork and documentation
• Passion for the beauty industry
• Honesty and professionalism
• Knowledge of Paul Mitchell Schools cultural and technical systems (preferred)
• Experience instructing at a barber school (preferred)
