- No scheduling mandation
- Work an average of three (3) shifts per calendar month. Regular weekend coverage is expected. Must be available to work a minimum of two (2) holidays per year.
Pay Range: Pay range: $39.29 - $46.58/hr. (this rate is inclusive of the $3.40/hr. Michigan Skilled Nursing Facility Direct Care Worker Pass-Through approved rate; current approval through September 30 2026)
Shift Premiums: Beginning 2:30 pm 10:30 pm $1:90 Beginning 10:31 pm -7 am $1.35 Weekend Fri 10:31 pm Sun 11:00 pm $1.00.

What Youll Do:
At Kresge our staff provides a unique and personal experience to each of our residents while focusing on quality treatment and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Direct Nursing Care Administer medications perform treatments monitor vital signs and wound care.
- Conduct Health Assessments Evaluate residents and report changes in condition to the clinical team.
- Monitor and Adjust Care Plans Observe residents for adverse reactions or side effects and update care plans accordingly.
- Coordinate Interdisciplinary Care Work with teams to enhance residents quality of life.
- Supervise and Mentor Staff Oversee nursing assistants and support staff providing guidance and mentorship.
- Document Resident Care Complete daily and monthly records accurately reflecting care provided and resident responses.
- Manage Admissions and Discharges Perform admission and discharge procedures as directed.
- Maintain Medical Records Keep accurate up-to-date records in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Ensure Safety and Infection Control Follow all protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Prevent Spread of Illness Adhere to proper infection control procedures at all times.
- Engage in Ongoing Education Maintain certifications and stay current with best practices.

Skills Knowledge & Expertise
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN).
- Active State of Michigan RN License.
- CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the frail and elderly.
- Tasks involving more than 50 lbs. require assistance or assistive equipment for safe performance.
