Job Summary
As the Front Desk Specialist assigned to Marqetas headquarters in Oakland California you will manage the offices front desk and visitor requirements.
This is a staffing agency position. The selected candidate will be employed by TCWGlobal.
Position Details
- The anticipated compensation is anticipated to be $30-$40/HR
- The assignment is anticipated to last approximately 12 months.
- The assignment requires on-site presence at Marqetas Oakland location three days per week on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.
Responsibilities Include:
- Be the onsite first point of contact managing access welcoming visitors and employees arriving at the office and providing general information & support including sign-in and badging.
- Address queries regarding office management issues (for example: office supply locations conference room locations etc.)
- Support office operations such as vendor coordination and managing inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Assist with office equipment deliveries and pickups
- Maintain familiarity with building fire and emergency plans.
- Support event setup (e.g. Tuesday lunch and occasional Happy Hour)
- Handle various projects and work experience requests as they arise as they arise
- Receive incoming UPS FedEx & USPS.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in relevant work - retail front desk etc.
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities systems and procedures including shipping and receiving.
- Experience with Google Suite and Slack.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills in a professional setting
