Working 36.5 hours per week
The business-critical Security Service provides 24 hours a day 365 days per year service to 101 service charged residential tower blocks owned by Birmingham City Council.
Mobile patrol officers are responsible for undertaking tour of duty patrols for 101 service charged tower blocks the patrol consists of checking each floor landing communal areas for health and safety risks anti-social behaviour fly tipping removing potential fire risks identified i.e. rubbish identifying and reporting communal repairs etc. undertaking dynamic risk assessments.
Mobile Patrol Officers respond to requests from colleagues in the Security Service control room on receipt of calls received from tenants reporting noise nuisance anti-social behaviour and for fact finding/identifying the source for emergency repairs for vulnerable tenants.
Willingness to undertake training which maybe outside of normal working pattern. Ability to work shifts. Previous experience of working in a security based environment or role.
