Lead Instructor Mathnasium
Lead. Teach. Inspire Confidence Through Math.

Location: Mathnasium of Brandon
Schedule: Part-Time (After School & Sunday afternoons)

The Opportunity

This is not a short-term or seasonal role. We are seeking someone who is committed to at least one year and wants to grow into a leadership role within our center.

As a Lead Instructor you will serve as a key leader on the floor balancing instruction team support parent communication and operational excellence.

What Youll Do

Lead and support a team of instructors during sessions
Deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
Monitor student progress and engagement
Communicate progress with parents and families
Teach in-center online or hybrid using the Mathnasium Method
Stay organized and assist with light administrative tasks
Help maintain a safe positive and professional learning environment

What Were Looking For

Passion for math and working with students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Solid math skills (Algebra 2 and above)
Leadership ability with a team-first mindset
Eagerness to learn grow and be coached
Ability to balance teaching and leadership responsibilities

Requirements

Pass a math literacy assessment
Provide work authorization
Successfully complete a background check

Tech Expectations (High Priority)

This role requires someone who is comfortable with technology and systems or can learn quickly and confidently:

Navigate and work efficiently on an iPad during sessions
Use spreadsheets (Excel or similar) for tracking and organization
Learn and manage CRM systems for student notes communication and follow-up
Adapt to digital learning platforms and internal tools with ease

You do not need to know everything on day one but you must be a fast independent learner who is not intimidated by new systems and can pick them up quickly.

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing LLC (Mathnasium). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center the franchisee will be your employer not Mathnasium.
