Workday Functional lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Core HCM and Compensation workstreams across implementation enhancement and optimization projects.
• Act as the primary functional SME for Core HCM and Compensation modules.
• Facilitate workshops gather business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
• Advise business stakeholders on Workday best practices and process improvements.
• Manage project timelines risks dependencies and deliverables.
• Coordinate with HR Payroll Benefits Recruiting and IT teams.
• Drive configuration reviews testing activities UAT support and production deployments.
• Provide leadership during design discussions and solution reviews.
• Prepare status reports and communicate project progress to executive stakeholders.
• Support change management training and adoption activities.

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of Workday experience with strong functional expertise.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in Workday Core HCM.
• 3 years of experience in Workday Compensation.
• Proven experience leading Workday projects or workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience conducting requirement workshops and solution design sessions.
• Experience supporting UAT defect triage and deployment activities.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes and Workday best practices.
