About this position

The Development Officer Major Gifts plays a key role in the development cultivation and stewardship of major donors grateful patients and corporate partners. This individual oversees a portfolio of major donors corporate sponsors and prospects and conducts donor solicitation in collaboration with the development office and the Manager Corporate & Individual Planned Giving.

Education

Bachelors degree required

Experience

Experience:
Three years development experience required (5 preferred) including experience soliciting individual gifts and working with corporate partners. Healthcare or adjacent experience preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Expert relationship builder and excellent customer service skills.
Possess a high level of computer literacy including experience using Raisers Edge or other donor management CRMs.
Experience using wealth analytics tools like ResearchPoint or Wealth Engine.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to work independently set priorities and complete work on time and with accuracy.
Ability to multi-task and excel in fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail.
Mature judgment and the ability to maintain confidential information.
Ability to work some nights/weekends.

Salary Range:N20 ($33.26 - $49.88) based on experience

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
