Surgical Care Tech

Department: Operating Room - In our Operating Room at Chelsea more than 5000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology orthopedics ophthalmology general surgery otorhinolaryngology podiatry plastic surgery and spine surgery.

Location: Chelsea MI

Pay: $15.79-22.11 per hour based upon applicable experience applicable shift premiums (when working afternoons overnights and/or weekends)

Position Purpose:

The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects operating room equipment as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties (Cleaning stretchers equipment terminally cleaning of the Surgical Department etc.)

Shift Available: Day Shift - 6am or 7am Start time - 8 hour shift with 30 minute lunch

Status Available: Part time benefit eligible (48 hours per pay period every two weeks)

On call required one weekend every couple months

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma
• A minimum of one-year previous related experience.
