1. Subject Matter Expert (SME) RTR (US GAAP Accounting)


Summary

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Record to Report (RTR) under US GAAP Accounting plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy timeliness and compliance of financial reporting across the organization. This individual will be deeply involved in end-to-end accounting processes from month-end close to financial statement preparation with a focus on adherence to US GAAP standards. The SME will act as a technical authority on accounting policies drive reconciliation integrity and support audit readiness. This role is essential for maintaining financial transparency enabling data-driven decision-making and upholding internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries including accruals reclassifications and adjustments in alignment with US GAAP
  • Lead and execute monthly quarterly and annual close processes ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements
  • Maintain the fixed asset register record asset acquisitions and disposals and calculate depreciation in compliance with accounting policies
  • Conduct bank cash and intercompany reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation explanations and audit responses
  • Track capital expenditures and project costs ensuring proper capitalization and financial tracking
  • Deliver management reports and variance analysis to support business planning and performance monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of close activities

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
  • Proven expertise in US GAAP accounting standards
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in RTR or related accounting functions
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

2. Team Manager (TM) RTR (US GAAP Accounting)


Summary

The Team Manager of Record to Report (RTR) is responsible for leading and optimizing the US GAAP accounting function ensuring accurate financial reporting compliance and operational efficiency. This leadership role involves managing a team of accountants driving process improvements and serving as a strategic liaison between finance auditors and business stakeholders. The Manager ensures audit readiness strengthens internal controls and delivers actionable financial insights that support organizational growth and governance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mentor and develop a high-performing RTR team; assign tasks and monitor progress against deadlines
  • Oversee general ledger activities including journal entries accruals and close processes
  • Manage monthly quarterly and year-end close cycles ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment of fixed assets and capital projects including capitalization and depreciation
  • Review and validate bank cash and intercompany reconciliations; ensure timely resolution of variances
  • Strengthen internal controls and compliance frameworks across RTR processes
  • Prepare and review financial statements management reports and variance analysis for leadership and audit purposes
  • Coordinate with external auditors prepare audit documentation and ensure audit readiness
  • Act as a key point of contact between accounting teams business units and senior leadership
  • Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve reporting accuracy automation and scalability

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (CA/CPA certification preferred)
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in RTR or accounting leadership roles
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management abilities
