The Machinist/Assembler position will primarily consist of 80% assembling industrial equipment and 20% manufacturing machined work at MCC:Compensation: $25-$32/hr based on experienceGenerous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day plus two plant-designated HolidaysResponsibilities:Setup and operate manual Bridgeport and lathe milling and utilize precision measurement tools with good data and QC finished technical instructions interpret engineering blueprints and technical to understand equipment read electrical drawings schematics manuals and wiring quality of parts and materials used in and assemble Fabrication skillsKnowledge and the ability to use a variety of hand and power company procedures and safety related improvements related to process/ orientated and able to maintain a clean work in special projects and performs other duties as assignedQualifications:Must be able to work 7:00 am - 3:30 pmMinimum of 2 years experience operating horizontal end mill and Lathe with mechanical pneumatic basic electrical controlsCommunicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writingDemonstrate essential computer skillsWork cooperatively in a team environmentAbility to lift 40-50lbsGeneral ability and knowledge of Manufacturing Safety Basic electrical mechanical metal machining electrical control devicesAbility to work efficiently and effectively in either a team or individual basisProblem solving experienceContinuous Improvement experience in Manufacturing Environment#LI-ML1#appcast
