Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Mehoopany PA 18629
Duration: 6 Months (Potential Extension)
Pay Rate: $35 - $45/Hr. on W2
Shift Timing: Standard Shift

Job Description:

• Experienced maintenance planner or other relative experience to: Assist with doing all the initial IQ / OQ checks to ensure that equipment is installed as required and all devices are installed in the proper orientation Assist with checking all mechanical aspects of the equipment (Alignment torque tests guards in place free moving parts) Assist with developing and documenting centrelines Assist with developing AM / PM Plans and documentation (Maintenance Plans) Assist with developing CILs Assist with developing re-build instructions for equipment Full understanding of LOTO (Lockout / Tagout) requirements and working around energized equipment Understanding of production packaging and conveying systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and/ or engineering degree/experience.

Responsibiliites:

Prep materials with splice tape and execute splices on specific unwinders on converter. (AQL CC-DL CSL TS CUFF BS). Team leader depending on skill set will prioritize and focus:

• Order Material
• Move carts in right location
• Remove Wrapping
• Prepare Material (Cutting Tape dispose material scrap)
• Interface with HMI for Returning material/Reject Material
• Order 5S of materials carts
• Thread up splice and execute splice sequence
• Thread up web when breakouts

Perform Cleaning and Low complexity maintenance and changeover tasks to keep unwinders and Converter with no losses solving defects:

• Perform RLS Tasks on A1
• Clean Unwinders inside and outside
• Vacuum and clean splice boxes
• Clean Drive Side
• Clean Floors Sweeping and Vacuuming
• Clean Glue Tanks
• Change MP filters idlers
• Change Print rolls Unwinders settings materials etc.
• Materials Clearance

Execute 5S tasks to support line Safety Quality GMPs and Operational Stability:

• Vacuum Line External Areas
• Take out trash
• Carry on RLS supplies order Supplies cabinets
• Materials carts transitions
• Layout compliance
• Clean and order external areas such as Computer Desk
• Clean and order Print rolls A1 Table
• Clean and Order Chemical Cabinet
• Clean and order Cabinets and Toolboxes
• Fill Glues on Tanks
