SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER BOUTIQUE PROPERTY PORTFOLIO REMOTE
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a talented and strategic Social Media Manager to lead the digital presence for a boutique property portfolio. This remote role is ideal for a creative and results-driven professional who can shape brand storytelling grow engagement and drive measurable bookings through content social media and integrated marketing campaigns.
Salary: R30000 per month
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for shaping and delivering the brands storytelling end-to-end building a world-class social presence elevating visual identity and driving engagement and bookings through SEO email partnerships and paid advertising.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand and Creative Direction
Protect and evolve the brands visual identity across all touchpoints: website social media photography video emails and guest communications
Set aesthetic standards for calm luxury design-forward and modern visual identity
Maintain a simple brand playbook to ensure consistency across platforms
Work closely with operations to ensure guest experiences and brand touches are consistently delivered and captured
Marketing
Own and deliver the wider marketing strategy aligned with business and growth goals
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns launches and seasonal activity
Support PR activity partnerships and brand collaborations with creators photographers press and aligned brands
Grow the company blog into a meaningful acquisition channel
Manage SEO fundamentals: keyword planning on-page optimization metadata internal linking local SEO and ongoing improvements
Plan and run paid campaigns where relevant (Meta Google Search retargeting seasonal campaigns)
Use data and insights to evaluate performance and inform future strategy (GA4 pixels conversion events UTMs booking attribution)
Improve conversion across the funnel through website messaging landing pages and follow-up processes
Social Media Management
Lead and grow the social media presence across Instagram Facebook X TikTok and LinkedIn
Create and publish high-quality content including short-form video photo carousels stories behind-the-scenes guest experiences and campaigns
Build a content calendar supporting occupancy goals and long-term brand equity
Develop and execute social content strategies that drive awareness engagement and conversion
Manage user-generated content initiatives including guest prompts and in-stay content capture
Manage community engagement responding to comments and messages in line with brand tone
Lead influencer partnerships and collaborations from identification through delivery
Monitor trends and platform changes applying them strategically
Track performance and insights optimizing content and activity accordingly
CANDIDATE PROFILE
3 years in brand social or digital marketing ideally in luxury hospitality travel lifestyle design or premium consumer brands
Proven experience delivering marketing campaigns and managing external partners
Strong expertise in social media management for luxury brands
Advanced content planning storytelling and editorial skills
Confident use of marketing and social media analytics to drive decision-making
Experienced in developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of paid social and digital marketing fundamentals
Ability to manage and brief creatives freelancers and agencies effectively
Excellent written communication with a strong sense of tone brand voice and detail
Organized proactive and calm under pressure
Fluent in English
