Job Summary

FOH MANAGER

Luxury Private Game Reserve Grahamstown

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly organised Front of House Manager for a luxury private game reserve based in Grahamstown. This live-in position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic bush environment and is confident managing both guest-facing operations and logistical coordination.

Salary: R16000 (live-in)

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all reception operations including guest check-in and check-out processes

Manage safari shop operations including sales stock control and guest retail experience

Coordinate reception logistics including guest movements and transport arrangements

Ensure smooth daily operational flow across all front-of-house functions

Liaise closely with lodge teams to ensure seamless guest experiences

Assist in coordinating safari schedules and guest activities

Provide relief support at lodges when required including shift coverage

Maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality delivery

Handle guest queries requests and concerns professionally and efficiently

Support overall operational efficiency across front-of-house departments

Minimum Requirements

Previous experience in front of house reception or hospitality management

Experience within a lodge or safari environment advantageous

Strong organisational and logistical coordination skills

Experience in guest relations within a luxury setting preferred

Ability to manage multiple operational areas simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Flexible and willing to work shifts including lodge relief duties

Professional well-presented and guest-focused approach

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
