Manager Business Development
Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development the Manager of Business Development is responsible for driving sustainable financial growth by increasing sales and building strong long-term relationships with clients of Rexit Group. The role involves developing and maintaining strategic partnerships identifying new business opportunities across a broad portfolio of services and formulating as well as executing robust business plans to achieve revenue and gross profit targets. The incumbent is also expected to deliver innovative client-centric solutions that address evolving business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Partnership Development
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders and prospective clients to identify partnership opportunities and support business growth.
2. Market Analysis & Strategy
Evaluate market trends competitor activities and client needs to uncover new business opportunities. Conduct in-depth industry research to identify emerging trends competitive risks and untapped potentialparticularly within the insurance and financial services sectorsand translate insights into effective sales strategies.
3. New Business Acquisition
Drive the end-to-end acquisition of new business opportunities including leading RFP submissions developing compelling proposals and managing contract negotiations.
4. Solution Consultation
Work closely with internal technical teams to design and deliver customized client-centric solutions tailored to specific industry needs. Prepare and review sales agreements to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal governance standards.
5. Pipeline Management
Establish and manage a strong sales pipeline by leveraging CRM tools and other resources to track opportunities monitor progress and achieve targets.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
Participate in cross-functional discussions to provide business updates and collaborate with technical and sales teams to ensure aligned and seamless delivery of client solutions.
7. Performance Monitoring
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives and monitor progress toward revenue objectives.
8. Client Relationship Management (Existing Clients)
Engage proactively with existing clients to understand evolving needs business priorities and challenges. Monitor client satisfaction and address concerns promptly to strengthen long-term relationships.
9. Revenue Growth Strategies
Identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. Partner with internal teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance value and drive incremental revenue growth.
10. Client Retention Initiatives
Develop and implement retention strategies to sustain high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty. Regularly review client portfolios to identify risks and improvement areas taking proactive measures to minimize churn and ensure account stability.
