Job Summary
Join our team of lifeguards and swim instructors to maintain the health and safety of all participants and provide high-quality programming while building relationships with members and program participants. This position is available at our Dahl branch in La Crosse WI.
Details:
- Flexible hours PART-TIME and FULL-TIME positions available for the summer!
- Work rain or shine in a controlled environment
- We will train qualified applicants
- Pool is open from 5am - 8:30pm Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the health and safety of all participants
- Enforce rules and expectations
- Constant vigilance of pool activities
- Conduct YMCA Learn-to-Swim lessons
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Lifeguard Certification (for lifeguards only)
- CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification (lifeguards only)
- YMCA Water Instructor Certification preferred (Instructors only)
- Must enjoy working around children and adults of all ages
