Our client a professional and reputable Industrial Cleaning and Waste Management Company is seeking a visionary and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and operations.
Job Overview
As a key member of the Management team you will oversee all financial functions including capital allocation treasury financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and investor relations. You will be instrumental in driving sustainable growth ensuring fiscal discipline and providing the Board with high-level financial insights to support critical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute the companys long-term business plan and financial strategy.
- Drive the annual budgeting process and provide rigorous Integrated Financial Modeling to forecast growth and cash flow.
- Identify and evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities including M&A and strategic partnerships.
2. Capital Management & Procurement Oversight
- Lead the financing strategy including debt equity and working capital management.
- Oversee high-stakes Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects ensuring robust ROI analysis and procurement governance for infrastructure investments.
- Manage the companys investment portfolio and optimize the cost of capital.
3. Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Ensure 100% compliance with local and international financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the Chief Internal Auditor to strengthen internal controls and mitigate financial risks.
- Present comprehensive financial reports and performance dashboards to the Board Audit Committees.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 15 years of progressive financial experience with at least 57 years in a CFO or "VP Finance" role within a complex multi-entity environment.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Economics. An MBA or Masters in Finance is highly preferred.
- Professional Certification: Mandatory FCA ACCA or CPA. Membership in CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is a distinct advantage.
