Assist in planning and overseeing all farming activities including planting irrigation fertilization and harvesting of blueberries.
Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease control measures. Must be able to calculate formulas to administer pesticides.
Supervise and train farm workers to ensure eHicient and safe operations.
Coordinate with the General Manager to develop and implement farm strategies to maximize yield and quality.
Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations safety standards and sustainability practices.
Assist in managing farm budgets calculating of formulas procurement of supplies and cost control.
Maintain farm equipment and ensure proper operation and maintenance schedules.
Collect and analyse farm data to improve productivity and eHiciency.

Liaise with suppliers buyers and stakeholders as necessary.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or diploma in Agriculture Horticulture or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in fruit farming preferably in blueberries.
Strong knowledge of blueberry cultivation techniques pest management and irrigation systems.
Experience in supervising and leading teams.
Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Familiar with farm machinery and equipment.
Basic understanding of budgeting and farm financial management.
Must be able to calculate formulas.
Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work long hours including weekends and peak seasons.
Valid drivers license.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to farm management.
Knowledge of sustainable farming practices.
