Your role as a Senior Finance & Tax Accountant:
You will primarily be responsible for ensuring the accurate and complete recording of accounting transactions timely month-end close of the accounting records and preparation of financial reports Budgeting Stock and finance controlling Tax filings audits and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records by recording and posting all transactions (accounts payable receivable and general ledger entries) including VAT and WHT.
Ensure accurate cost allocation and timely accruals.
Support month-end closing by ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
Prepare and review monthly financial reports and maintain accurate and complete financial records.
Maintain and update the fixed asset register and post depreciation.
Oversee inventory and stock processes including stock counts and ensure accurate valuation of inventory and livestock.
Perform foreign exchange (FX) revaluations where necessary.
Manage data uploads and integration across systems such as Tagetik Tali and Avihance.
Improve system alignment and ensure data accuracy across platforms.
Manage statutory and tax audits and ensure timely tax filings and compliance.
Liaise with tax authorities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial and corporate records.

Requirements
A Masters/Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or other relevant fields.
Professional Accounting qualification (ICAG ACCA or CIMA) preferred.
Minimum of 4 years work experience in a similar role.
Experience within manufacturing FMCG agribusiness or trading environments is preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles tax regulations and financial reporting.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Must be analytical and detail-oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suites (Excel Word and PowerPoint) and major accounting software (e.g. Sage Tally QuickBooks).
