Legal and Risk Manager

• Prepare draft and conduct thorough reviews of contracts agreements correspondence and legal documents related to daily operations including commercial and corporate matters such as corporate exercises mergers and acquisitions investments partnerships customer and vendor agreements.
  
• Develop strategic approaches and lead negotiations with counterparties to secure optimal terms and outcomes for the company.
  
• Identify and assess legal issues providing sound legal advice and practical solutions.
  
• Protect the company from legal risks non-compliance and potential violations.
  
• Lead and participate in internal risk assessment and management initiatives.
  
• Review company processes and reports to identify hidden or potential risks.
  
• Develop review and enhance company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  
• Establish and maintain an efficient documentation system for the secure storage and easy retrieval of legal documents.
  
• Ensure effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders across the Group.
  
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) with 58 years of relevant experience. Exposure to both professional firms and in-house environments will be an added advantage.
  
• Strong working knowledge of corporate and commercial contracts. Experience in manufacturing or related industries is preferred.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong persuasive abilities. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required.
  
• Demonstrates high accountability professionalism and integrity with a mature approach to work.
  
• Highly meticulous with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  
• A proactive and enthusiastic team player who is eager to learn quality-driven and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
