Job Summary
- Data Tool Maintenance
- Maintain and administer reporting tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Microsoft (MS) Power BI MS SharePoint sites
- Monitor performance ensure data refresh stability and manage user access where needed
- Support configuration updates and document related procedures
- Manage data from other key sources as required (Microsoft Share Point Power BI data model Oracle etc.)
- Collaboration with IT
- Work closely with IT on issue debugging defect reproduction and functional testing
- Validate system enhancements fixes and new releases before deployment
- Provide detailed test results and feedback to support technical resolution
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Perform data analysis to support business reviews and operational needs
- Build and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports
- Schedule automated reporting jobs and monitor their successful execution
- End User Support and Training
- Prepare training materials user guides and process instructions
- Deliver user training sessions and provide ongoing support on report ing tools
- Collect user feedback and propose improvement ideas for reporting processes
Requirements
- At least 4-5 years of experience in a comparable position in manufacturing industry
- Advanced proficiency in business analytics and reporting tools o Familiarity with Oracle databases with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) preferred
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel Macros Power Query and Pivot and Power BI
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to explain technical topics in simple terms
- English proficiency in both speaking and writing
- Ability to work cross functionally and cross culturally
Required Skills:
Experienced in Performance tuning of database systems ORACLE Familiar and/or experienced with administrating in Unix / Linux OS Knowledge of Unix shell scripting Possess at least 1 year PL/SQL experience Possess knowledge or experience with Oracle related tools Experience using Oracle Data Guard with or without broker With OCA / OCP Certification will be added benefit. (Oracle Certified Associate / Oracle Certified Professional) Familiar with performing Backup and Restore procedures Familiar and/or experienced with installing upgrading and managing of database tools Possess basic knowledge and/or experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager Willing to work on shift rotation basis Willing to work overtime / standby (Overtime claimable) Willing to work in Mid-valley KL
