Job Summary
We are looking for SMT Operator For Table Top Machines - is responsible for operating and maintaining machines used in the assembly of electronic circuit boards using surface mount technology. They ensure components are accurately placed and soldered onto PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards).
1. Machine Operation
- Operate SMT machines such as:
- Pick-and-place machines
- Solder paste printers
- Reflow ovens
- Pick-and-place machines
- Load PCB boards and electronic components into machines
- Start monitor and stop production runs
2. Setup & Changeover
- Set up machines according to production requirements
- Perform feeder setup and component loading
- Change programs and feeders for different PCB models
3. Inspection & Quality Control
- Inspect solder paste printing and component placement
- Identify defects like:
- Misalignment
- Missing components
- Solder bridging
- Misalignment
4. Troubleshooting
- Detect and resolve minor machine issues
- Report major faults to maintenance or engineers
- Replace faulty feeders or nozzles
5. Material Handling
- Ensure correct components are used (based on BOM Bill of Materials)
- Maintain proper labeling and traceability
- Handle ESD-sensitive components safely
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Record production data and machine logs
- Maintain checklists and quality records
- Report production output and defects
7. Maintenance & Housekeeping
- Perform basic preventive maintenance
- Clean machines and work area
- Follow 5S and safety standards
Required Skills:
Experienced person who should know the Table Top machine operations
Required Education:
ITI or Equivalent
