About Us:

We are a growing outpatient practice on Maui dedicated to meeting a critical need in our community by providing high-quality Physical Occupational and ABA Therapy services to children of all ages and abilities. Our mission is to make therapy services accessible to every child on Maui while enabling our therapists to achieve the ideal work/life balance to truly enjoy the lifestyle that Maui has to offer.

Pediatric Therapies Hawaii is a standout ABA clinic that distinguishes itself from others by employing a holistic and comprehensive approach to therapy. At Pediatric Therapies Hawaii the focus is not only on behavior modification but also on addressing the overall well-being and development of each child. This clinic recognizes that children are multidimensional beings who require a comprehensive approach to therapy in order to achieve optimal growth and of the key aspects that sets Pediatric Therapies Hawaii apart is its emphasis on play-based teaching and therapy. Children learn best through play as it is a natural and engaging way for them to explore and learn about the world around them. Play-based therapy allows children to develop important skills such as social interaction communication problem-solving and emotional regulation in a fun and interactive way. Additionally Pediatric Therapies Hawaii incorporates natural environment teaching into its therapy approach. By working with children in their natural environments such as at home school or in the community therapists can help children generalize the skills they learn in therapy to real-life situations. By incorporating play-based therapy and natural environment teaching into its treatment approach the clinic is able to offer a unique and effective therapy experience that helps children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and provide direct therapeutic services to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. Your role is crucial in helping clients achieve meaningful outcomes and improve their quality of life through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
• Implement Behavior Plans: Follow behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA to deliver ABA therapy sessions effectively.
• Direct Client Interaction: Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in various settings (e.g. home school community).
• Data Collection: Accurately record client progress and behavior data during sessions to track goals and outcomes.
• Behavioral Support: Use positive reinforcement and other ABA strategies to teach communication social and daily living skills.
• Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions with clients families and colleagues
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists educators and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care consistency in interventions strategies and effective communication
