Director of Horizons Clinic
Leadership Opportunity
Arc of Onondaga County is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Director of Horizons Clinic to lead the development and delivery of clinical services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the clinical operational and financial performance of the Article 16 Clinic and associated services. The Director serves as a key member of the leadership team partnering with the Programs and Services Officer to advance agency-wide goals and ensure high-quality person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of diagnostic and treatment services
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Horizons Clinic including satellite locations
Manage clinic budgets and financial performance
Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations
Supervise and support clinical staff including professional and support personnel
Provide leadership training and development to multidisciplinary teams
Promote integration of clinical services across all agency programs
Prepare reports and updates for senior leadership and Board of Directors
Oversee expansion and coordination of clinical services including collaboration with external partners
Maintain a small caseload of clinical patients.
Ensure safe compliant and effective service environments for individuals and staff
Qualifications:
Masters degree or higher in Social Work Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy and the current professional licensure required.
510 years of experience required; preference towards the delivery of clinical services for people with I/DD
A combination of education and experience which in the judgement of the employer equals the above standards
Valid New York State drivers license with acceptable driving record

Direct supervision of approximately 715 staff
